If the mood at your office or home is depressing you don't have to spent a whole lot of money on entertainment or junk food or forcefully tell a joke everyone's heard before.

Mood improvement is actually very simple.
Just speak 1 simple sentence interspersed with 1 of these words and stop. Just observe the mood of the room after a couple of minutes.

Amplify
Rave

That is the word should have lot of more positive connotations than the dictionary definition could give. They can be termed word magnets because they bring back emotions in your memory attached to a whole lot of positive/bubbly experiences where you heard the word being uttered.

Wealth ?

Vikram asked the Guru,
Vikram: Is wealth and materialism right ? Can't we be happy without money ?
Guru: Ok, Throw a stone at that Pot.
Vikram did, the Pot broke making a very funny noise. Vikram laughed.
Guru: Are you happy without spending money ?
Vikram: Yep.
Guru asked Vikram's son who was with him,
Guru: Are you happy ?
Vikram's son: Pot sounds aint that funny but I liked the game.
Vikram understood.

George and the Guru

George asked the Guru, What is intelligence ?
Guru:Take this 1 Re. and buy an apple for me from the market and I will tell you. Also throw out this garbage cover on the way.
George goes to the shop.
Shopkeeper: This is a rare coin Sir, I will give 500 Rs. for it. I know a rare coin collector.
George: Rs.750 and it's a deal.
George takes the money, puts it in his pocket, takes an apple and comes back. On his way he dumps the garbage in his enemies's backyard.
George: Here is the apple, Now tell me what is intelligence. ?
Guru: Intelligence is in your back pocket. The garbage cover had Rs.5 lakh. That was Wisdom.


George went to the Guru and asked him, What is Engineering ?
Guru: I will tell you, but first pass me those groundnuts,
George: Do you want me to break them open and give it to you or I will pass it to and you will break it yourself ?
Guru: Well, that question is the essence of Engineering !!!

George went to the Guru and wanted to know the truth.
Guru: The hard way or the easy way ?
George: What is the hard way ?
Guru: This bushy jungle road is the hard path to truth.
George : I want the easy way.
Guru: Oh that, The pretty girls at the end of the jungle road can only tell you.
George went to the end of the jungle road in triple quick time.
There were no pretty girls at the end, but George realized the truth...
